The Autonomous Ground Vehicle Competition is seeking to develop more complex algorithms for the achievement of a higher level of robot autonomy.

The Autonomous Ground Vehicle Competition is a co-run event by the Centre for Intelligent Systems Research (CISR) and the Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO). The aim of the competition is to promote robotics related endeavour to Australian tertiary students. Entrants are required to build an autonomous vehicle to navigate an obstacle course within a time limit. The competition will be held between the 4th and 8th of December 2014 at Deakin University. maxon motor Australia will be extending technical support and discounted products to entrants participating in the 2014 competition.
